Check Presentation at the Wilmington Sharks with Jeff Gordon Chevrolet and Winter Park Optimist

A check for $500 was presented at a Sharks home game on June 19th, 2008 from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet to Winter Park Optimist. The donation was part of a season long partnership with Chevy Youth Baseball.

This year Jeff Gordon Chevrolet has partnered up with Chevy Youth Baseball to bring you Free Youth (ages 7-13) Clinics with the Wilmington Sharks.
How to register:
All interested participants will need to register online at www.chevyyouthsports.com/rsvp. Then select "Wilmington" for LMG, enter the password "playball" and then follow the instructions. Each participant will select one clinic date from the list of options shown below. Remember, participants will NO LONGER need to have an actual clinic invitation to attend, but will need to RSVP on the site and bring a signed copy of the waiver form to the registration table on the day of the clinic.

All participants will spend a half day in various rotations such as fielding, hitting and pitching, supervised by either Certified Ripken Instructors OR experienced current and/or former MiLB TEAM players and coaches. The clinics are FREE for all participants. Each child will receive a t-shirt and a free meal after the clinic.

Chevy Youth Baseball and Jeff Gordon Chevrolet continued their season long sponsorship with an All-Star night with 'good old' hot dogs, apple pies and baseball. It was Winter Park Optimist final games of the season, what better way to finish off the season than free hot dogs, sodas and apple pies for all.
